This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VOLVO C30. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VOLVO C30. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO C30 with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VOLVO C30 installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VOLVO C30 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
