After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed BMW 4 Gran Coupe installation manual. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
