The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your BMW X1 and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your BMW X1 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed BMW X1 installation manual. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
