This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your BMW X5 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed BMW X5 installation manual. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
