This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your BMW X4. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your BMW X4 and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed X4 X4 installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
