This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW PASSAT B8 Variant. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VW PASSAT B8 Variant. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

You could even turn off the parking assistance of your VW PASSAT B8 Variant with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW PASSAT B8 Variant installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW PASSAT B8 Variant. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
