  • The electrical set is delivered in passive mode. The assistance systems on the vehicle are not switched off in this case and coding is not required.
  • If coding is possible, however, there is the option to switch the electrical set to active mode at the touch of a button and then to code it so that the assistance systems are automatically switched off during towbar operation.

Product details

This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your SEAT ATECA. This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your SEAT ATECA. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your SEAT ATECA with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed ATECA ATECA installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your SEAT ATECA . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
