This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VW GOLF VIII . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VW GOLF VIII. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VW GOLF VIII with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW GOLF VIII installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW GOLF VIII. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
