The electrical set is delivered in passive mode. The assistance systems on the vehicle are not switched off in this case and coding is not required.
If coding is possible, however, there is the option to switch the electrical set to active mode at the touch of a button and then to code it so that the assistance systems are automatically switched off during towbar operation.

This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your SEAT LEON . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your SEAT LEON . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

You could even turn off the parking assistance of your SEAT LEON with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed LEON LEON installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SEAT LEON. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
