This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your BYD TANG . This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your BYD TANG. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your BYD TANG is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed TANG TANG installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your BYD TANG . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
