  • the towbar preparation can be recognised by a prepared plug, which is located at the rear left under the vehicle
  • The electrical set is delivered in passive mode. The assistance systems on the vehicle are not switched off in this case and coding is not required.
  • If coding is possible, however, there is the option to switch the electrical set to active mode at the touch of a button and then to code it so that the assistance systems are automatically switched off during towbar operation.

This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MAN TGE Platform/Chassis. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MAN TGE Platform/Chassis . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MAN TGE Platform/Chassis installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MAN TGE Platform/Chassis. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.
