Product details

This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VOLVO EX30. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VOLVO EX30. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO EX30 with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VOLVO EX30 installation manual. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VOLVO EX30 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
