This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MINI MINI COUNTRYMAN. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MINI MINI COUNTRYMAN, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MINI MINI COUNTRYMAN is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MINI MINI COUNTRYMAN installation manual. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MINI MINI COUNTRYMAN . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
