This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MG ZS SUV. This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your MG ZS SUV. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your MG ZS SUV with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MG ZS SUV installation manual. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MG ZS SUV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
