This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW SHARAN.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VW SHARAN with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW SHARAN installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
