This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VOLVO XC90 I . This 13 pin wire kit will display the trailer turn light function on the specific trailer control light in the dashboard. This must not be activated on your VOLVO XC90 I .
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your VOLVO XC90 I with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed XC90 I XC90 I installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
