This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your NISSAN INTERSTAR Van. The kit will trigger the specific trailer turn light control indicator in the NISSAN INTERSTAR Van dashboard. This function must not be activated separately.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your NISSAN INTERSTAR Van with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed NISSAN INTERSTAR Van installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your NISSAN INTERSTAR Van. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
