This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your SUBARU OUTBACK . This 13 pin summer wiring kit activates a warning sound when a defective trailer turn light is detected.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function in SUBARU OUTBACK is supported by this 13 pin Summer electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed SUBARU OUTBACK installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SUBARU OUTBACK. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
