This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your SUBARU FORESTER . This 13 pin summer wiring kit will trigger a warning sound when a faulty trailer turn light is detected.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assistance function of your SUBARU FORESTER is supported by this 13 pin Summer electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed SUBARU FORESTER installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SUBARU FORESTER. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
