This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VOLVO S60 I. This 13 pin summer wiring kit activates a warning sound when a defective trailer turn light is detected.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO S60 I with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed S60 I S60 I installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VOLVO S60 I. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
