This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your SUBARU SOLTERRA. This 13 pin summer wiring kit activates a warning sound when a defective trailer turn light is detected.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your SUBARU SOLTERRA with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed SOLTERRA SOLTERRA installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SUBARU SOLTERRA. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650 . A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
