This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your JAGUAR XF SPORTBRAKE . This 13 pin summer wiring kit will trigger a warning sound when a faulty trailer turn light is detected.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your JAGUAR XF SPORTBRAKE with a button on your dashboard. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your JAGUAR XF SPORTBRAKE. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
