This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your TOYOTA LAND CRUISER . This 13 pin summer wiring kit will trigger a warning sound when a faulty trailer turn light is detected.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your TOYOTA LAND CRUISER with a push on a dashboard button. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your TOYOTA LAND CRUISER. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
