This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your TOYOTA PRIUS. This 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the blink frequency of the turn light control function when a trailer light is faulty.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your TOYOTA PRIUS with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed TOYOTA PRIUS installation manual. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your TOYOTA PRIUS . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
