This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your FORD TRANSIT CONNECT V408 Box Body/MPV . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your FORD TRANSIT CONNECT V408 Box Body/MPV, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your FORD TRANSIT CONNECT V408 Box Body/MPV is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
