This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ GLC installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ GLC. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
