This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW POLO V. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW POLO V and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your VW POLO V is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW POLO V installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW POLO V. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
