This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your SKODA RAPID. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your SKODA RAPID . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your SKODA RAPID is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed SKODA RAPID installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SKODA RAPID. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
