Are you looking for a specific electrical kit suitable for your MERCEDES-BENZ CLS? Then this 13-pin electrical kit from TowTec is the right one. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ CLS, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed CLS CLS installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ CLS. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
