This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO / MIXTO Van . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO / MIXTO Van, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO / MIXTO Van is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed VITO / MIXTO Van VITO / MIXTO Van installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO / MIXTO Van. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
