Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your VW PASSAT CC B6 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW PASSAT CC B6 installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW PASSAT CC B6. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. TowTec specifies an installation time of 2.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hour(s). It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket.
