This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW PASSAT B7. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VW PASSAT B7 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW PASSAT B7 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW PASSAT B7 installation manual. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VW PASSAT B7 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 2.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hours for installation. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
