Product details

Your vehicle can be equipped with this detachable rear-mounted towbar from GDW. This tried and tested model is produced with a simple lever mechanism. The GDW T35 hand and lever system is one of the most affordable in its category. The tow ball is secured onto the towing bracket with 4 screws.

Don't give thieves a chance! Use accessory 218918 to protect the towbar against theft. The towbar supports a vertical load of 50 kg. GDW submitted a fatigue value of 7.7 kN.

This towbar includes a TÜV certificate with a unique certification number that is noted on the type plate. We will request this certificate for you after you order this towbar. The towbar for your vehicle can only be included in the vehicle documents after an inspection. The towbar must therefore be presented to an expert when fitted to the vehicle.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible.

This towbar is designed to carry bicycle carriers. You can find offers for this in the "Bicycle carrier" category.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer GDW. The product is dip-coated to increase weather resistance. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.

Read and follow the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer when installing the hitch. Normally all information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
