Product details

This 13 pole wiring kit from ECS is supplied vehicle-specific for your vehicle. This 13 pin summer wiring kit will trigger a warning sound when a faulty trailer turn light is detected.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 13 pole buzzer wiring kit. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
