Product details

This vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle is from the manufacturer TowTec. This 7 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Once the wiring kit has been installed, the vehicle must be coded for trailer operation.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 7 pole data bus wiring kit. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
