The handling of this 13 pole wiring kit is extremely simple: It is recognized by the data bus system in your vehicle and is ready for use after coding the vehicle for trailer operation. From now on, the wiring kit will inform you via the vehicle's own system if the lighting on the trailer is faulty.
The 13 pole data bus electrical kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
