Neither the presentation of your vehicle to an expert nor registration in the vehicle documents is required. Please note the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer in your vehicle user manual. It is possible that the parking assist sensors of the car detect the tow ball. In reverse the towbar could be recognized as an obstacle.
