Are you looking for a specific wiring kit that is suitable for your vehicle? Then this 13 pole wiring kit from TowTec is just right for you. This 13 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Attention! No coding of the vehicle is necessary for this wiring kit.

Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connections, adapted cable lengths and colors as well as detailed installation instructions are the hallmarks of this wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
