This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 5008. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your PEUGEOT 5008 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your PEUGEOT 5008 with a push on a dashboard button. To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 5008, accessory 122653 can be used as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory 122653 must be installed 2 times.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
The ORGA number of your PEUGEOT 5008 must not exceed the number 12379, otherwise the electrical set will not be suitable. You can find the ORGA number of your vehicle on a sign or adhesive label on the A or B pillar.
