The 13-pin TowTec electrical kit is suitable for the FORD FOCUS II Convertible.
The parking assistance feature can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this additional accessory: 171084. TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your FORD FOCUS II Convertible , accessory 171084 can be used.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
