The 13-pin TowTec electrical kit is suitable for the FORD FOCUS III Saloon.

The parking assistance feature can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this additional accessory: 171084. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your FORD FOCUS III Saloon, accessory 171084 can be used. If a self-actuating shut-off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not possible, a bicycle carrier cannot be installed in some countries.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
