The 13-pin TowTec electrical kit is suitable for the MERCEDES-BENZ CITAN Box Body/MPV.

The parking assistance feature can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this additional accessory: 171084. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your MERCEDES-BENZ CITAN Box Body/MPV , you can use this accessory: 171084. in Iome countries this accessory is required as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
