This 13-pin electrical kit, made by TowTec, is suitable for the FORD USA F-450 SUPER DUTY Cab & Chassis .
The parking assistance feature can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this additional accessory: 171084. TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your FORD USA F-450 SUPER DUTY Cab & Chassis, accessory 171084 can be used. If a self-actuating shut-off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not possible, a bicycle carrier cannot be installed in some countries.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
