This 13-pin electrical kit, made by TowTec, is suitable for the CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 Extended Cab Pickup .

If your car has a parking assistance feature, it can be automatically shut down by the optional item 171084 when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 Extended Cab Pickup , accessory 171084 can be used.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
