The 13-pin TowTec electrical kit is suitable for the KIA K8.
If your car has a parking assistance feature, it can be automatically shut down by the optional item 171084 when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your KIA K8 , you can use this accessory: 171084. in Iome countries this accessory is required as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
