The 13-pin TowTec electrical kit is suitable for the DONGFENG MAGE.
The parking assistance feature can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this additional accessory: 171084. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your DONGFENG MAGE, accessory 171084 can be used. If a self-actuating shut-off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not possible, a bicycle carrier cannot be installed in some countries.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
