If your car has a parking assistance feature it can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this optional item: 171084. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your MERCEDES-BENZ GLB , accessory 171084 can be used.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
