This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your CITROËN C2. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your CITROËN C2 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your CITROËN C2 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed C2 C2 installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your CITROËN C2. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your CITROËN C2 when using a trailer or bicycle carrier, accessory 122653 can be used, as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory 122653 must be installed 2 times.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
