This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 308 I. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your PEUGEOT 308 I, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 308 I is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed PEUGEOT 308 I installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PEUGEOT 308 I. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 308 I when using a trailer or bicycle carrier, accessory 122653 can be used, as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory 122653 must be installed 2 times.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
