This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your DS DS 3. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your DS DS 3 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed DS DS 3 installation manual. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your DS DS 3 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your DS DS 3 when using a trailer or bicycle carrier, accessory 122653 can be used, as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory 122653 must be installed 2 times.
The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
